Join New Classics Ballet Theatre

NCBT is seeking professional dancers with strong classical ballet training for our inaugural 2026 Gala and Spring Ballet performances.

At New Classics Ballet Theatre, our mission is to bring ballet back to life. We are committed to preserving the integrity of classical technique while opening the stage to new voices, fresh narratives, and the next generation of artists. We believe ballet should inspire, captivate, and welcome audiences of all ages.

Our 2026 Gala will mark NCBT’s debut performance, presenting excerpts from our upcoming full-length ballet alongside select works from our Contemporary Showcase, where emerging choreographers are given space to develop and share new creations.

In Spring 2026, NCBT will premiere its first full-length original ballet — a whimsical, family-friendly story that highlights both tradition and innovation in narrative dance.

We are seeking dancers who combine technical excellence with the ability to bring characters and stories to life through movement. As members of our founding season, you will help shape the identity of the company, inspire future generations, and rekindle the magic of ballet for today’s audiences.

Be part of NCBT’s first cast. Be part of ballet’s story.

Contracts & Compensation

New Classics Ballet Theatre is committed to building a sustainable, professional environment where dancers are valued and respected. For the 2026 Gala and Spring Ballet, artists will be engaged on short-term project contracts (approx. 3–4 months).

Stipends will be offered based on the final funds raised for this season. While compensation may not yet reflect the full professional scale we aspire to, NCBT is dedicated to recognizing dancers’ time and expertise and is actively working toward securing greater funding for future seasons.

By joining us this year, dancers have the unique opportunity to be part of founding NCBT’s artistic legacy, helping establish a company that will grow and thrive in Southern California for years to come.
