Maggie Gulitashvili

Maggie Gulitashvili, originally from Tbilisi, Georgia, began her ballet training at the Vakhtang Chabukiani Choreographic School, where she studied the Vaganova method under the guidance of Larisa Chkhikvishvili with artistic direction by Nina Ananiashvili. During her time at the academy, she had the opportunity to train internationally, including a month of intensive training in Tokyo, Japan. She also competed in an international ballet competition in Italy, placing in the top ten, and won first place in a group performance of the traditional Georgian dance Gandagana performed en pointe. After graduating, Maggie joined the Tbilisi Opera and Ballet State Theatre, where she performed in full-length classical ballets including The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, La Bayadère, and Don Quixote, as well as contemporary works. After moving to Los Angeles, Maggie continued her professional career dancing with Hollywood Ballet Company and working as a freelance dancer in various performances and productions.
